AV Niche (Recording Systems) Limited supply a full range of “easy to use” removable Hard Disc Drive recorders which are suitable for “in vehicle” and “on site” high resolution real time audio video recording. 2 independent audio channels are provided for synchronised audio recording.  Each system has a 30 second pre record facility and is supplied as a standalone cased unit with a removable 2 ½” Hard Disc Drive. 8 hours continuous real time audio visual recording are provided at a rate of 3 M bits per second. For “in vehicle” applications the system chassis is permanently installed within the vehicle. The shock mount chassis and hard disc drive fixings ensure efficient operation in the harshest of “in vehicle” or “on site” applications.

Single function controls are integrated within the recording unit for “ease of use” operation. The recorder units have both 12 V DC and 240 VAC mains operation facilities. Portable units are supplied with a dedicated internal rechargeable battery. Options for all removable Hard Disc Drive recorders include integral 4”colour LCD display monitor, GPS time date, video text overlay and independent audio visual DVD/ CD recording drive.
