In-Cell Communication

The AVN range of in-cell cameras and in-cell communication systems enable officers and staff to more easily observe statutory requirements in relation to recent duty of care legislative changes. Integrated with established cell call systems, the in-cell communication system, IC2s enables officers and staff to identify when a detainee wishes to contact them. Officers and staff control when the communication link is open upon the call request being received from the other party. Use of the system also enables officers and staff to instigate, communicate with an individual within a cell in order to enhance routine observations and checks.

- IC2s housings are secure vandal resistant flush / corner mount with integral camera and system electronics to provide both the microphone and speaker within the in-cell environment.

- each control unit can support up to 16 individual cells multiple IC2s units can be integrated within any size of dedicated custody suite.

- in-cell cameras and communication units operate from low voltage power supply.

- the camera images are, as standard, displayed for safer detention and handling purposes within a secure custody office.
